We are a boutique humanitarian and development consultancy building on the expertise and experience of our founder and director, Kat Paton. We offer design and management services for policy, programmes and projects in New Zealand, the Pacific and beyond. We seek to work with non-profit, private and government sectors, including bilateral, regional and multilateral donors, delivering innovative but pragmatic solutions.
The company operates from a strong values base. It prioritises understanding your needs in order to exceed expectations. There is a focus on timely delivery and flexibility.
Born and raised in rural New Zealand, Kat brings sound experience in project, programme and policy development and management having worked with the government, non-profit and private sectors in New Zealand and abroad. Kat is able to work in multi-cultural environments, from community through to ministerial levels. She has been involved in a diverse range of projects including social and community development, migration (forced and voluntary), rural and economic development, environment and natural resources, water and sanitation, governance, education, health and disaster risk management/climate change adaptation. With a legal background, Kat is also familiar with the justice sector, she brings critical and systems thinking and is politically astute. Kat speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.
